Scientific Linux CERN 3 (SLC3)
Originally SLC3 started its life as CERN E. Linux 3 (CEL3) in early 2004, then after a Scientific Linux cooperation was agreed it became Scientific Linux CERN on 16th of April 2004. SLC3 was based on SL3 which in turn was a recompilation of freely available sources of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.
Support for SLC3 ended on 1st of November 2007.

CERN Linux 7.3.X
CERN Linux 7.3.X was a CERN customized version of Red Hat Linux 7 which entered production on 26th of November 2002.
Support for CERN Linux 7.3.X ended on 31st of December 2005,

Before CERN Linux 7.3.X came there was first CERN try at Linux: CERN Linux 6.1 which was just Red Hat Linux 6 with only very few customizations and changes...
